Improve Manager

Then we have the challenge for you! As Improve Manager in our Wastewater Services department you play a key role in optimizing processes and realizing innovative solutions that make a real impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing improvement initiatives within the Wastewater Services department. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and (senior) Process Engineers. You will report to the Plant Manager of Wastewater Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze processes and bottlenecks, and translate them into concrete improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans and annual plans (OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Lead projects focused on process optimization and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and compliance laws and regulations.
  • Create support for changes within and outside the organization.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Set up, monitor and report on KPIs.

You inspire others, know how to turn complex issues into concrete solutions and realize improvement projects successfully. Qualifications

  • Completed academic degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • You have demonstrable experience in a substantive position within chemistry and also have several years of experience in a broader management role.
  • Experience with process optimization methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Business Process Management.
  • Strong in data analysis, problem solving and project management.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (safety, environment, permits).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build support among various stakeholders.
