How did you end up at Circle Infra Partners?

After working for about fifteen years at small and medium-sized companies in IT, I started working at various (larger) organizations on the Chemelot site. There I discovered my preference for a work environment with short lines of communication where people know each other personally. When the opportunity then presented itself, to contribute as IT manager at Circle Infra Partners, it felt like a logical next step. A compact organization with a clear direction and a real can-do mentality; exactly the environment in which I feel at home and can put my experience to use.

What is typical about Circle as an employer?
Circle is a company where short lines are not just a term, but daily practice. Have a question? Then the answer is usually just a few chairs away or one Teams call away. Colleagues really listen to each other and help where they can, and that makes working together efficient and enjoyable.
In addition, there is a culture of openness. Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions with mutual respect. This creates a transparent environment where people can develop, be themselves and enjoy their work.
What do you enjoy most about working at Circle?
The informal atmosphere really appeals to me. Regardless of position or department, you can easily interact with everyone. The collegiality and mutual trust ensure that I enjoy going to work every day. What I also appreciate is that you really contribute to the optimization of business processes. The appreciation you receive for this gives a lot of job satisfaction. In particular, I am very proud of developing our own IT workplace, which we completed in 2024.
What are your personal ambitions?

My motto is Carpe Diem: seize the day. Staying healthy, taking time for family and friends and having fun in what you do is most important to me.

In my work, this means building a future-proof IT environment that adds value. We have laid a solid foundation and are now focusing on further improving and bringing all systems together. In the coming years, we will focus on professionalization, with an emphasis on security, optimization and AI. The focus here is on collaboration, so that our systems help people work smarter, safer and more efficiently.

What is your message for future employees?

At Circle, it’s all about people. You are who you are, with all your pluses and minuses, and that is allowed. We appreciate colleagues who dare, express their opinions, show respect for other points of view, support decisions and enjoy their work while helping others to do the same.
