Positive development in sustainable water management at Chemelot: OASE project in full swing

At Chemelot, the OASE project is taking a big step toward more sustainable water management. The project improves water management by deploying new collection tanks and sustainable purification technologies. As a result, process water is treated more efficiently before it goes to the Integrated Waste Water Treatment Plant (IAZI).

Collaboration for cleaner water
The OASE project is a collaboration between Circle Infra Partners, Royal HaskoningDHV, BLM Industrial Contracting and various subcontractors. Each with their own expertise, but with one common goal: a sustainable solution for water management on the Chemelot site.

Circle Infra Partners plays a critical role in safety, sustainability and infrastructure. The OASE project contributes to cleaner water drainage, reduced environmental impact and a safe water infrastructure. Intensive cooperation and knowledge sharing will further optimize water management at Chemelot and contribute to the ambition of climate-neutral and circular operations.

Behind the scenes
In the video below, Sylvia Vanhommerig, Chief Operating Officer Circle Infra Partners, talks about safety and cooperation within the OASE project. Also, Koos van Haasteren, Executive Director of Chemelot, shares his perspective on the importance of the OASE project and the future of water management at the site.
